Multiplayer Leaderboards?

Another question for the 17-BIT peeps, are there any plans to add multiplayer leaderboards? I know these tend to encourage abuse but I think they would be a great addition to the game especially for async gaming between devices.

Just to clarify, I mean multiplayer leaderboards on Windows 8 and Windows Phone.

At the moment we have no plans to make Async leaderboards. However we are still working on patches for the game that add features from time to time. I'll put this as a suggestion for the devs to potentially add it for future patches =)

Just giving this a bump.

I still think async leaderboards and a rating system would be a great incentive for people to keep playing or play more (especially for the Phone and Win 8 versions).

Just started playing. Without a leaderboard the multiplayer is a bit aimless. As online play was the main reason I downloaded I will now uninstall. Very annoying that this game is missing such an obvious feature.
