[Android] Game doesn't go beyond menu screen. Sound problem.

Postby Cromwell » Tue May 27, 2014 2:40 pm

Ok, and alas I encountered several issues. Startscreen music is not very loud. I had to turn it on fully to even hear it. Second issue and which is a gamebreaker: it doesn't let me play it. I can create a new user, every menu item works, but there is nowhere anything which let me start the game....
No button, no text. I clicked everything but to no avail. .. Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Newest OS, KitKat. Not rooted. Please help. I even restarted the device. Didn't help either. :(

I am having the exact same problem on my Samsung Galaxy S4. My phone is also not rooted, running KitKat. I believe the issue is caused by poor text placement. The top menu item seems to be off of the screen. I have included screenshots of the campaign menu and the settings menu.

As Fudizzle said, it does seem to be positioning on the menu items. I'm getting exactly the same issue on a week old Samsung Galaxy S5, not rooted and running kitkat.

Another issue. When the screen wents black, because of the power saving timeout, the game hangs and so your device. It takes a while until your device is accessible again. Additionally I think the game should have its own screen timeout time independent from the system.

Same problem here with the menus. Its safe to assume all of the samsung devices that have this problem reported are affected and that not everyone reports it. I have an SG S5 and this is annoying. Im guessing it must be due to the higher resolution screens. Also, while you are fixing this issue can you make the buttons larger or something? Maby add that as a setting?

Hey all, thanks for the reports! There is indeed a UI / positioning problem that we are working on and will update here.

Hi,

I have the same screen problem on the Nexus 5, it should be related to the 1080p resolution.
This also prevents me from starting the game...

Thanks! The most recent update has fixed the menu alignment on my Samsung Galaxy S5, so I can play the game. The buttons are really small though, could you add a scaling feature?

Depending on the device, yes the buttons can be a bit too small. A scaling feature is a great suggestion, thanks!
